The faint hum of insects can be heard in the background, a natural ambience for the prehistoric land. A sever for primal beasts of yore, and where a recently spirited away human is trudging through. Covered in mud that refused to leave their form. Clinging to their pale ivory skin, along with their clothes and small black bag in hand. With a big sigh, they stop in their tracks and look around the wetlands, trying to ignore the feeling of mud creeping up their ankles.
Perking up when they noticed a knocked over log in the short-distance. Half submerged in the murky waters but would be a decent seat for the tired human, they began to eagerly head over to said log and take off the now muddied shawl like scarf from their shoulders with the intent of using it as a way to keep their shorts dry, or as dry they can be while caked in mud. Letting out a small huff through their nose and quickly readjusting their glasses, only for the frame to slip back down the bridge of their nose as they reached the log, and lay the black scarf over the wet wood, and quickly sitting upon of said scarf with the bag settling between their feet, with their head hanging low and take off their glasses to rub their eyes.
Sitting in silence as their hand falls from their face and eyes open slowly, staring at the ground as the bugs continue their song in the background. "This is great," muttered the human, trying to rub off most of the dried muck off their glasses with their black vest and puts them back on, letting them slip back to their usual position. With a deflating exhale they lean down and pick up the bag, beginning to unzip it with the plan on taking out a small snack from it to get some form of sugar into them. And just when the bag was halfway opened, the sounds of water splashing stopped the human's action and caused them to look up and-
WHAM
A blunt force slams itself into the human, pushing them off the log very easily and into the murky watery ground below. The colour purple overtaking the dazed human's sight as the sounds of a snickering can be heard shortly after. The human, tries to shake their head as the violet skunk-rabbit plucks up the small black bag from the ground, tilting their head as they try to open it but stops when something tried to growl at them, "That's mine." The Elecmon looked down with their ruby eyes and chuffs with a smirk "You sure about that?" they asked with an air of smugness, rolling their eyes when the human tried to push themself up but slips with a small grunt. "God you're pathetic," continues the purple mammal, only for the ivory mammal to snap back with a "Fuck you" as they push themself up, even with the height disadvantage the Elecmon merely smirk, and easliy jumps out of the way of the lunging human. Pulling an Akanbe on the human and letting out a laugh as they yelled profanities at the mammal digimon.
"You lil shit!" Snarled the human as the Elecmon turn and tossed the bag into their mouth and began running on all fours. The human was about to begin to chase the digimon but stopped "Shit," they say to themself and spun on their heels, swiping their scarf off the log and wrapping it around their arm by spinning said limb and then, proceeds begin chasing the violet mammal. Elecmon hops and skips over the wetlands with practiced ease, while the human slipped on a loose pebble and fell face first into the ground with a splat, causing the skunk-rabbit to look behind and make them sincker at the sight before they looked back forwards and continued running.
It doesn't take Elecmon too long to hop through a thick patch of reeds and onto more stable ground, making the digimon ease to a trot and slow to a stop. Sitting on their haunches, they take the bag out of their mouth and eagerly began to unzip it to see the content, and just as they began to assess what was inside. They felt a force came from behind and push them to the ground, making the small bag fly from their paws and cause some of the items to fly out to the grassy floor. It didn't take Elecmon to long to realise who jumped them and began fighting back against the human with a quick turn and quicker punches, with the human swinging their own punches at the digimon. Both rolling on the ground with the intent to cause the other harm, with the bag out of their minds for now. But it quickly renters their minds as a third voice interrupts their fight.
"Oooooo~" egerly said the mushroom, wiggling their gloved fingers and picks up the black bag. A Mushmon, who is rummaging through the bag, while the two mammals stares at the plant digimon in a dumb stupor, before voicing their own displeasure about this.
"THAT'S MINE!"
"OI!"
This somewhat startled the plant, and causes Mushmon to aknowledge the other two before them with a brief silence. "Nuh-uh" finally replied the mushroom, which cause both mammals to stand up and glares daggers at the digimon. With a simple glance to eachother and a nod from both parties, they began to creep closer to Mushmon, who in turn, takes out an eyeless small smiling mushroom. Elecmon quickly gets on all fours and begins to rub their 9 tails together, quickly charging up electricity and sending out a bolt "Jamming Thunder" yells Elecmon. While it misses, it hits the tree behind the plant digimon, causing it to fall westward and hit the ground with a heavy thud. The thud was quickly followed by a shout "Poison S-mush!"and the small mushroom is quickly thrown at Elecmon, hitting the ground just before the digimon and explodes into a cloud of spores, making the skunk-rabbit to hack up a lung from the sudden in-take of spores and feel their eyes water from the mix of coughing and the cloud they find themself in.
Leaving the human to panic slightly as they sputter, covering their mouth for a brief moment and try their best to clear up the cloud by unwrapping their scarf and fanning it away but the black fabric's wind barely caused a dent in the spore cloud. Elecmon sputters out spores from their lungs and squints with their teary eyes, trying to see Mushmon through blurry eyes but they just shake and it in and charge forwards, missing the mushmon by a hairs-length and slams into a hollow tree. Effectively dazing themself, Mushmon seeing this as an opportunity to take a swing at Elecmon and lands a swift but hefty punch. Causing Elecmon to hit the ground with a grunt.
The human still panicking, quickly wraps the scarf around their arm and runs into the spore cloud to try to see the other two and heads over to the sound of Elecmon grunting, but trips over an unseen root momentarily, but they were able to catch themself against the floor with their hands and push themself into a small sprint, unknowingly slamming into the plant and causes the bag to leave Mushmon's hands. Both quickly struggle with eachother as they both fall to the ground, fighting for the advantage over eachother while the dazed mammal brings a paw to their forehead and rubs it, seeing the world spin around them as they try to comprehend the sight in-front of them. The sight of Mushmon being able to elbow and quickly buck off the human, swiftly getting up to begin running away, and begins to disappear into the forest but stops and turns to the mammals with a pointed finger "This isn't the last time you seen me!" Yells the plant but the two mammals didin't listen them and barely acknowledges Mushmon, as the human winces at the scrapes but stops themself and looks over to Elecmon, "You alright?" They asks, shuffling closer to the violet digimon who nods weakly. "Yeah...," they begin "Just a bonk on the head is all," they finish.
"Ya sure?" Asks the human, leaning closer and hovers a hand over the digimon's head but stops themself and slightly leans back from Elecmon, watching the skunk-rabbit turn their head to where Mushmon once stood and pouts, crossing their paws. "Sucks that they got away, with that bag," they begrudingly say but looks to the human as they moved away and grabs something "Yeah..." Began the human, bringing the bag up into Elecmon's view. "Minus the bag part," they finish, putting the bag onto their lap and assesses the damages. "Alright, seems like some of the stuff fell out, but I'm sure I can find them." They continue, pulling out a chocolate santa and begins to unwrap it while Elecmon watches in silent. Watching them break it in half and offer it to them. "Here," said the human with a tired but warm smile, pushing one half of the chocolate santa into their claw.
Elecmon looks down at the piece and sniffs at it, smelling the sweetness and takes a glimpse at the human who already began eating their piece, and takes a bite out of theirs as well. Elecmon's pupils grow in size and gain sparkles in their eyes as the taste of chocolate over take their taste-buds and gobbles it up with the human.
Both enjoy their pieces in silence before the human offers their hand "Crazy," they state to the other mammal, which stares at their hand for a moment before grabbing it with their paw and smiles "Jackal," he replies and they go back to eating their chocolate together.
